Former U.S. President Trump has claimed multiple times that he could end the Russia-Ukraine conflict in a short period, but the specifics of his plan have remained a mystery. Recently, Trump's political ally J.D. Vance revealed some details of this peace plan, attracting attention from all sides.

The core content of the plan includes establishing a demilitarized zone along the current Russia-Ukraine contact line, requiring Ukraine to commit to neutrality and not joining NATO, as well as effectively having Ukraine give up part of the occupied territory. This proposal attempts to seek a balance between Russia's security demands and Ukraine's sovereignty, but it seems difficult to satisfy both parties.

Ukrainian President Zelensky expressed strong doubts about this, insisting that any peace agreement must include the restoration of Ukraine's full territorial sovereignty, including Crimea. He clearly opposes making concessions on issues of national sovereignty.

In Russia, President Putin expressed doubts about whether Trump can fulfill his promises, stating that his remarks are "unrealistic." The Russian Foreign Ministry also questioned the feasibility of the plan, especially considering Ukraine's firm refusal to accept territorial concessions.

This peace plan has sparked deep reflections on Ukraine's sovereignty and the geopolitical landscape. It highlights the difficulties of seeking peaceful solutions in complex international conflicts and the challenges of balancing the interests of all parties.

In any case, the exposure of this plan provides a new perspective for the international community to discuss and allows people to re-examine the possible ways to seek peace in long-term conflicts. However, achieving a solution that is acceptable to all parties still requires more diplomatic efforts and political wisdom.
