Five things worth remembering on the journey of life: First, stop worrying about the past. The past is gone, and you have no power over it. The only reason the past can hurt you is that you keep revisiting it over and over again. Second, don’t worry about the future. The future hasn’t happened yet; it is unknown. Worrying about the future will only rob you of your peace in the present. Live in the now, this very moment, because your power is here. Third, stop placing your happiness in the hands of others. Others can add color to your life, but they cannot make you whole. It is your own responsibility to make yourself happy. Fourth, do not underestimate your inner strength. Give yourself some affirmation. That strength has always been within you, and it is still there. Fifth, stop comparing yourself to others. Comparison is the fastest way to destroy your confidence. You are not "behind," even if you seem different from others or certain things; you are not "behind." You are on a different path, and that is perfectly fine.
