Details of China-U.S. trade talks



1. The negotiations were "constructive" and "frank," but both sides have yet to announce any agreements or significant breakthroughs;
2. The Chinese side stated: According to the consensus reached in the talks, both parties will continue to promote the extension of the suspended 24% U.S. equivalent tariffs and the Chinese countermeasures for 90 days as scheduled. That is, the "equivalent tariffs" imposed by the U.S. on China remain at 10%;
3. The U.S. side stated: Whether to extend the tariff truce period will be decided by President Trump;
4. Trump stated that the talks were "very good."
