Well-known investment institutions are increasing the position, buying up 9001 ETH.
According to on-chain data analysis, a well-known investment institution has made significant purchases of Ethereum again after the recent market fall. The institution added 9,001 ETH to its holdings last night, with a total value of approximately 22.72 million dollars.
The source of funds for this transaction is quite notable. The institution first borrowed 42.1 million USDT from a decentralized lending platform, and then transferred these funds to a large centralized exchange to purchase ETH and withdraw it to its own wallet.
As of now, this investment institution has cumulatively purchased and held approximately 182,000 ETH. Its average cost is about $2,250, which has resulted in an unrealized gain of approximately $32.6 million compared to the current market price.
This series of operations indicates that, despite the recent market pullback, some large institutional investors still have a positive outlook on the long-term development prospects of ETH and are actively positioning themselves. This counter-cyclical accumulation behavior also reflects, to some extent, the institutions' judgment that the current ETH price has strong investment value.
