The social value of NFT still exists, and Web3 products should focus on user experience and rise.
NFT as a communication tool still has value, Web3 products need to focus on user experience
A co-founder of a well-known blockchain project pointed out in a speech at an event that NFTs are still a great communication tool, and the market demand for NFTs still exists. This is mainly because NFTs themselves have social attributes and social value. He stated that their project aims to further enhance the quality of NFTs and maximize user experience. He believes that the Web3 industry needs deeper value support, and only by designing NFT products well can the products become more diversified when introducing NFTs.
The founder also shared some specific practices of their project. For example, during the conversion process between Coin and NFT, they set time costs, such as it taking about a month to upgrade an NFT from level 0 to level 5. This design helps to filter users while regulating user behavior through continuous user education, providing users with a unique experience.
In terms of anti-cheating, the project has invested significant resources in developing an anti-cheating system to prevent allocating resources to users who may not make actual purchases and will only continue to sell off tokens. They have also introduced an activation code feature to ensure a steady daily growth of 0.5% in user numbers, thereby building a relatively stable economic model.
For Web3 social products, the founder emphasized the importance of user understanding and interest. He suggested that product design should allow users to focus their attention in a short time, understand the product's low-risk characteristics, and simplify usage channels, experiences, and processes. He pointed out that only after a deep understanding of the product and its environment can the design be more targeted.
In addition, he emphasized the importance of sustained growth in social products. He believes that without continuous growth, merely having a short-term craze cannot build consensus. He cited Bitcoin as an example, pointing out that it took nearly 10 years for Bitcoin's consensus to form. This highlights the patience and ongoing efforts required to build solid consensus in the Web3 domain.
After mixing in this space for so long, these are just the same old stories.
